FAP831 adalah Chipset standar 11ax Wi-Fi MTK dengan kinerja tinggi pada titik akses nirkabel di dinding dengan beberapa port dan mendukung MU-MIMO, Wave2,0, OFDMA dan Jelajah lancar.

Kecepatan Wi-Fi total 3000Mbps yang dipadukan pada 2 radio: 2,4 GHz (600 Mbps 11ax 2*2) + 5 GHz (2400Mbps 2*2), port Gigabit WAN & LAN yang dilengkapi, mendukung modulasi MU-MIMO dan DL/UL-OFDMA, kecepatan data Ethernet yang lebih cepat, dan lebih banyak pengguna, kemudian beberapa pengguna dapat meng-upload atau mendownload beberapa paket sekaligus, jarak antar operator lebih sempit dan waktu simbol lebih lama, peningkatan stabilitas dan efisiensi pemrosesan data, untuk umum digunakan di lingkungan akses dengan kepadatan tinggi seperti kampus universitas, lokasi konser, gimnasium dan lain-lain
