Overview:
The rotary drum dryer is mainly used for pre firing hard magnetic ferrite powder, and can also be applied in industries such as cement, metallurgy, and chemical industry. The equipment consists of the main kiln and its supporting transmission device, cooling pipes, fuel system, electrical control, secondary air intake device, exhaust dust removal device, and preheating kiln body. It has functions such as over temperature alarm, overload alarm, automatic control of working temperature, and adjustable oxygen inside the kiln.

Applicable Scope:
Widely used in industries such as food, feed, chemical, pharmaceutical, mining, and fertilizer production. According to the requirements of the drying product, different heat sources can be used. For example: direct hot air stove, indirect hot air stove, thermal oil, electric heating, steam, etc. This machine is suitable for drying various types of residue materials with a moisture content of less than 85%, such as beer lees, alcohol lees, fruit lees, medicinal lees, soy sauce lees, sugar lees, starch lees, poultry and livestock manure, and slaughter residues. It has good effects on opening up feed resources, reducing feeding costs, and reducing environmental pollution.

Operational Principle:

Drum dryer and rotary drum dryer have a large processing capacity, simple operation, and good drying effect. The dried material comes into direct contact with hot air and is dried through convective heat transfer. According to the flow direction between hot air and materials, it is divided into co flow and counter flow. In a parallel flow system, the hot air moves in the same direction as the material, and the hot air with higher inlet temperature comes into contact with the material with higher moisture content. Due to the material being in the surface vaporization stage, the product temperature remains roughly at wet bulb temperature.

Although the temperature of the material on the outlet side of the drum dryer and rotary drum dryer is increasing, the hot air temperature has already decreased, so the temperature increase of the product will not be too large. Therefore, choosing a higher hot air inlet temperature will not affect the quality of the product. This is suitable for the drying of thermosensitive materials, including those containing volatile components, such as the drying of ammonium salts in the fertilizer industry. But for the drying of ammonium based salts, the material temperature should be below 90 ºC to avoid combustion.
