Kabel Tankii NiCr-NickelSi /NiAl (Tipe K) menemukan penggunaan terlebar di semua dasopokthermocouple, pada suhu di atas 500 C.
Kabel thermocouple tipe K memiliki resistan yang kuat terhadap oksidasi dibandingkan TERMOKOPEL logam lainnya. EMF berisi EMF tinggi terhadap Platinum 67, akurasi suhu, sensitivitas dan stabilitas, dengan biaya rendah. Disarankan untuk beroksidasi atau inert, namun tidak dapat digunakan secara langsung dalam kasus berikut:

(1) Alternatifnya dan mengurangi atmosfer.
(2) Atmosfer dengan gas sulfur.
(3) waktu panjang dalam vakum.
(4) atmosfer beroksidasi rendah seperti atmosfer hidrogen dan karbon monoksida.
Kabel NiCr-NiAl thermocouple dapat diproduksi sesuai kebutuhan komposisi kimia pelanggan.
