CNC (Computer Numeric Controlled) Ultrasonic Welding System for small thermoplastic parts
1. CNC = all weld parameters are computer numeric controlled and can be calibrated to meet FDA and ISO requirements. Three password levels eliminate unauthorized changes to weld programs, assuring production setup and weld quality remain constant
2. Maximized weld consistency through rigid, cast alloy, square column frame construction and actuator mechanism with high precision cross-roller bearing system
3. Fast, precise, and repeatable application changeover through Simon Ultrasonics' Indexed Quick Change Tooling System
4. Fast and easy set-up through column crank handle ball pivot supported fixturing plate
5. Reproducible welding through programmed trigger force and weld forces via Simon Ultrasonics' computer controlled proportional valve that precisely adjusts and maintains the programmed forces regardless of supply pressure fluctuations
6. Precise weld depth measurement and compensation of part tolerances through RPN (Reference Point Numeric) linear encoder
7. DIALOG touch industrial PC with Pentium® Processor and WINDOWS® Based operating system requires no special knowledge to set up the welding system or to program the weld parameters

9. DIGITAL CONTROL for repeatable weld results. Digital closed loop generator control continuously monitors and adjusts the converter/booster/sonotrode stack frequency to provide optimum efficiency

11. Touch screen with graphic user interface (GUI) provides on screen visualization of the welding process. Every weld generates a unique "fingerprint" consisting of the 3 weld process graphs, which provides a tool for finite weld process parameter optimization
