Ini merupakan cara yang efektif untuk melakukan pembangkit listrik limbah suhu rendah, meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan energi, dan mengurangi polusi lingkungan. Dapat digunakan untuk pembangkit listrik biomassa, pembangkit listrik tenaga surya, pembangkit listrik bumi, air laut, pembangkit listrik termal laut, dll
