Antibiotics have a broad spectrum of antibacterial effect, indications rickettsiosis, Brucellosis, mycoplasma pneumonia, chlamydia infection, can also be used for sensitive gram-positive cocci and negative bacilli caused by mild infections. It is mainly used for gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative bacteria such as meningococci and gonorrhoeae. It has antibacterial activity and the same antibacterial spectrum and application with tetracycline. It is slightly more effective than tetracycline in treating intestinal infections, including amoebic dysentery. There is close cross-resistance with tetracycline.
