Graphite products have been widely used in vacuum furnace, not only for heating element and heat insulation screen of vacuum furnace, but also for manufacturing structural parts such as joint parts, support, material plate, guide rail, bolt, screws, bearing, fan blade and so on. The application of graphite parts in vacuum furnace greatly simplifies the design and manufacture of vacuum furnace, reduces the consumption of metals such as molybdenum, tantalum & stainless steel, reduces the cost, improves the performance of vacuum furnace and expands the use range of vacuum furnace.
 

Why does graphite can be used for industrial furnace?

Characteristics of graphite:
1. High temperature resistance: The melting point of graphite is 3850 ± 50 ° C and the boiling point is 4250 ° C. Even if it is burned by ultra-high temperature arc, the weight loss is small and the thermal expansion coefficient is very small. The strength of graphite increases as temperature raises. At 2000 ° C, the strength of graphite doubles.
2. Electrical and thermal conductivity: The electrical conductivity of graphite is 100 times higher than that of general metal. Thermal conductivity exceeds metal materials such as steel, iron, and aluminum.

3. Chemical stability: Graphite has good chemical stability and is resistant to acid, alkali and organic solvents.
4. Plasticity: The toughness of graphite can be cut into very thin slices.
5. Thermal shock resistance: Graphite can withstand severe changes in temperature without damage when used at normal temperature. When the temperature changes suddenly, the volume of graphite does not change much.
